Peony - taken with a Sony DSC-H50 on auto macro setting. Edited in Photoshop Elements by applying the mosaic filter. Just click on filters within the program and click on mosaic.

Pretty palat, Carol! Thank you for posting to Any Photo Art!
Great altering there Carol.
I see you have it tagged correctly for the How Did You Do That? ~ Photo Art June Competition, but don't see your description.
Not sure what you mean Denise. I will go back to the group page and see if I can figure it out.
Still not sure. I took the photo on auto setting and photoshop element mosiac on it. It says it above, so can you please explain and I will correct it?
I do see that you said it was edited in photoshop elements mosiac. I was looking for a more detailed description. Could you take us throug the steps?
Sorry Denise this was an easy one to do. I put more info in here and I hope it helps.
Thank you Carol. Did you have any other shots in the series that were less desirable? Did you move around to get the perfect angle? What caused you to choose this shot? (I'm learning too and have gone through many shots myself and out of trial and error getting that one good shot.) Thoroughly explaining the process will help this to be the learning group of my vision. Thank you so much, Carol.
Denise I had just cut them and put them in a vase in the house. Got my camera and put it on auto macro and shot this pic. Decided to alter it for the group. I played around with elements till I got an effect I liked and this one was the best filter that I tried out. Sorry there wasn't more learning on this one. I will try to do more shots that are more detailed for the group.
That's okay Carol. Maybe you'll have another that's more appropriate for this challenge. If you had examples of other effects you liked less, it would make a good post for this challenge.
Very neat
Lovely edit

Thank you for posting to Any Photo Art.
Very nice. I like it.
Nice effect. I agree with Phil - it looks like a petite point cushion material.
It looks like a painting on canvas. Just gorgeous, Carol.
