Fascinating, Ann. I stared at this for a long time, trying to figure out how you did it. From a window with pussywillows (that's what we call them) reflected in the glass, looking down on a frozen pond? I love the ice behind the buds - it's winter, still holding on, yet with a promise of spring. Lovely. (I haven't been on Gather at all, but always loved your photos and had to check this one out!) Thanks for the lift!

The magic of photoshop Aaron...actually 3 photo's. After I pumped up the texture I went back and added 3 spots of softness to bring back the sense of the silkiness of pussywillows.

Marie, I have been picking bouquets of them ever since I was tall enough to reach them. They are a special sign of spring. Thanks.
