RB it was nice and toasty, and functional, as well, since I cooked a "foil-pack" of veggies on the coals.

Beautiful fire. We went camping in Oklahoma last weekend and had some of those foil packs. They were delicious. It doesn't rain a whole lot in Oklahoma, but guess what-we just got supper all put away and were stretching out around the fire in lawn chairs when raindrops began to fall. It rained off and on all night. Luckily we had already collected the firewood for breakfast, and we put it under a shelter. We stuck the lawn chairs in the car right quick, and retreated to our tents.
