Sistah Rose - my dear friend - you look so professional - this reminds me of Dorothea Lange or something - really intriguing shot, I think it's your old soul showing through your face...lovely - everything about this is classic. Thank you dear Rose. Salud

I love it! I love the coloring and the pose and the hairdo!

I tried taking a picture of myself in the mirror and it turned out awful.

Oh Mariana...I think that's the best compliment I've ever gotten...I would hope it's my old soul that you see shining out...that's what I would want to project ;-) And Dorthea Lange..lord I could only hope to be a fraction as good as she was...now she was an artist with a camera!!!!

Thanks to you all--the coloring is a little odd, I couldn't use my flash since I was shooting into the camera, so this was on the "portrait" status, and my bathroom walls are painted a bright, honey yellow so I guess that's where the coloring comes in. Thanks.

PS-dianne..don't feel bad, I took about 10 or12 before I found one I really liked ;-)

A new icon for the New Year~2010. Best wishes to all my Gather friends and I hope to be here more frequently this coming year...blessing to you all. Rose Sleeping Pug in Profile~ A shot I took of my daughter's mixed breed Pug/Peke while he was taking a nap.
