Hi again, Kevin.
I followed the link and am suprised to see cayenne pepper as one of the spices.

That is certainly not what I expect, but then again what do I know about cooking? LOL

Makes a great (and very easy, make-ahead) T'day side dish.

Jackie,
The cayenne doesn't add heat (if it does you used too much), just a little edge that really highlights the apple flavor.

Donna,
In this case I had it with pork medallions with strawberry gastrique, but it's also particularly good with roast chicken.

I learned something new today, Kevin. I used your recipe for spiced apples. I didn't use apples though. I used spaghetti squash. Guess what? It rocked. Yep. It did. I made only one change: I substituted honey for the molasses. Delicious! Try it.
