With grocery shopping, I need help finding a wider variety of fresh fruits and veggies at an affordable price. I'd love to try a more exotic assortment of fresh fruits and veggies, but the selection in our local grocery store isn't that great, and the prices can be high. Eating healthy is a top priority in our family. With a family history of diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and strokes on both sides of our family, we stress healthy eating. We eat lots of whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies, and fat free milk. Our son is a healthy eater too and fast food is not allowed in our home. I've been increasing our fresh fruits and veggies lately since we found out we are expecting a new baby. Healthy eating during pregnancy is essential to avoid excessive weight gain and give the growing baby all the vitamins he/she needs.
