10 Oct 08. Columbus, Ohio. The next President of the United States - Barack Obama! I was in the crowd for his inspiring speech and cheered him on with around 20,000 other supporters. Topics he hit on that stuck with me - Bringing green energy jobs to Ohio, supporting education, and ending the War on Iraq!

Too cool, MJ. I was leaving my daughter's house about 5:30, and entering the freeway at Greenlawn, and had to pull over as his buses rolled by....It was pretty cool at the time...

THAT ONE! is indeed our next president. Thankfully, truthfully, gleefully.... Honestly, and openly.

He will have a groundswell of workers in his wake. We will not step away once the election is over. He has created a whole new generation of activists.

I can say, at the ripe and wonderful age of 52, that I have become, and will remain, a neighborhood activist...and a stronger "guardian of liberties" than I have ever been in the past. Let's do this!
