October ~IPC~Intense Photo challenge~Night shot using available light and no flash is the challenge....This is outside on a table on my deck with a jackolantern and fresh produce...F 2.8 100 mm macro...Canon 30D
As shot, no crops etc

I agree with Roy about the cropping.
But otherwise nice focus and set up. Love it!

david..thanks, I feel I captured what I intended, which was just that, a warm fuzzy feeling...lol
of course the warm light is very appealing....like the repetition of shapes and the diagonals within your framing.....quite festive,Jenn.....and i would crop up from bottom to force the mini pumpkin into bottom corner....did you manually set exposure,or use the night mode?

I think you mean September IPC Photo Challenge. Or is the composition titled "October" (which would be apt?) :P
I like it. The warm colors really help give this some appeal. I would raise the lower crop a tad to eliminate some of the negative space but overall...very well done.

...you are 100% right...normally I would have presented it cropped, but, an old Bonnie Raitt song's 'hook' started flowing through my head kept playing through my head...

This is the shot I worked on for IPC and had fun with the challenge...it was a good one!(Kudos to Bobbi!)
