Barack Obama has gotten oily with his flip flop on offshore oil drilling. Before, Obama promised he would oppose the expansion of offshore oil rigs along America's most sensitive coastlines. Now, Obama says he will support expanded offshore drilling for crude oil - even though he gave speeches talking about how offshore oil drilling won't help with the energy crisis. Barack Obama is now abandoning environmentalists - after environmentalists helped give him the Democratic nomination. What a disappointment.

Right now we are in Afganistan, where the cash crops grow opium. There has been talk of running a pipeline right through Afganistan from the north into Pakistan to the Ocean. This has been an issue that has not been forfilled. The Caspian Sea area to the north holds lots of oil. US troops are fighting there as I write. I wonder whats more important the dope or the oil, perhaps both. Looks like Bush is still in the White house.
