Cocktail in a snap: I was having some fun with my Canon PowerShot A460, and took this image of a dirty martini (olive juice is the "dirty" component). I used the oil paint feature of the free IrfanView photo editing software to give this shot an artistic flair.

Heh! Ms. Meacham, you have captured my favorite alcohol for cooking and absolutely for drinking. So clean and transparent that it melds with all flavorings. I enjoyed, very much, the fact that we both chose to alter our alcoholic visions with a paint variation. You are a genius. The doppleganger shot will ever be my favorite since I've now dubbed that the name of my drink of choice!
Now to check Madame Donna's
P.S. I'm thinking about enlarging this photo and printing it on photo paper, with a glassed-in frame, or canvas, with a frame but no glass. I think this could be a really great end product!
have a stellar Halloween night!
cheers,gayle
