it's not real, it's a photoshop done to celebrate the arrival of Baby Sophie into the world. her nursery is apparently ladybug themed.

although, my dad does have a ladybug tat on his back left shoulder, so that's why i put this one there.

There was a ladybug on my windshield yesterday. I showed my wife and she'"Awww'd" it. They must have the highest favoriblity rating of any bug. It's all due to the paint job. ;)

Bret, they are kinda cute. did you know they don't come in just red and black? i've seen orange ones and hot pink ones and pale pinky/white ones and ones with no spots whatsoever.

i had a colony that lived in my window sills of my studio in NJ.

Penni, i have no idea about that. apparently letting them take over your studio and part of your master bedroom means less dust mites, but not more luck. maybe you do need to do something special to awaken that gift.

nippy, sorry, i'm tired today, i think it's all the painting cleaner chemicals i've inhaled that's making me slow.

there are others with a ladybug motif? are they doing so in honor of Sophie too? or did i stumble upon a bad railway track?
