Note this to add to that picture. On this trip to Kenya Africa to "find his roots", was at the same time the USA was memorializing the 5th anniversary of 9/11. Yap! That's right; as we were here having memorial services for the people killed by Muslims on 9/11, Obama was not only not here, but he was dressing up in Muslim robes.

And he cares enough about America to be it's leader???

(Obama is my Senator so I know this is true, I know he was in Africa on Sept 2006, but I see now what he was doing!)

I have been a bit busy, but I have been stopping in here at Gather off and on, but this time I just had to comment on this picture. Obama is the biggest "do nothing this country has ever seen". And to tell you the true I have no clue why people are attracted to him. Even as our Illinois State Senator he NEVER had any of his bills passed, just as it is now that he is in the US Senate. (A big do nothing). But then again Hillary is not any better.

Such gross misrepresentations make me feel sorry for people who post stuff like this. I don't care if it'd be about McCain's age or Obama's hope. Both men have put a lot of time and effort into our country and although we may not agree with either of them (or agree with both wholeheartedly), this does nothing but to lower the bar of intelligence. If we are to prosper as a society, it is because we seek to address issues and not simply put forward myths, lies, and stereotypes. I do not agree completely with any candidate in the race but I can say that I do have a feeling that no matter how they feel on the issues, they both do care deeply for America. When you're ready to make positive changes for this nation, I do hope that you personally will lead by example. It is so much easier to complain about the dark than to be the light for all to see. If you are going to make a political post, that's great, I applaud you for being a responsible citizen and wanting to help make our country and our world a better place. Simply, do so with dignity. Make your arguments and your mark and be able to stand back and look at it and think, "wow, I'm proud of what I did to help make things better". I challenge you to not conform to the lowest common denominator, to not pass on baseless rhetoric, and to fight for the rights of others (especially with those with whom you disagree). Let us begin to make our nation better by holding our candidates responsible. It's ever more important to hold those whom we agree with up to a sharper magnifying glass than those whom we disagree with. Start with yourself and make a positive difference and help transform this world into one constructed out of the kindness of men and women's hearts and the dreams of a better tomorrow.
