I thought I'd update my head shot for blogs, press releases about my exhibit, etc. The last one is over 10 years old and was taken by a professional photographer as a publicity shot for an exhibit. This one was taken last night by my wife in my studio. I think she did a good job, considering what she had to work with.

It is a good one, You looking so concentrated, nearly lost in the task of painting gives a nice impression as a avatar, press photo and similar as a painter.

We are always hardest on ourselves, aren't we. I think your wife did an excellent job, and the subject matter was an easy one to shoot. You're quite a handsome man.

Now, I'm off to your site to see if I can get something original and within my budget. Haha. I suspect I may end up having to settle for prints, though.
