Lori cee-I always think that same thought when I look at my munchkin. She came into life just like that-INDEPENDENT! She gave her Dr. a MAJOR heart scare when my amnio was done. We watched her on the sonogram...she quickly looked up at the needle...swam up to it...and began to swipe at it with her little fetal limbs. Sooo we knew she was going to pretty much dance to her OWN little beat-HA! HA!
Sherine, thank you. I was/am very happy but that day was definitely a high point in life. We still pretty much had our entire family intact at the time it was taken (grandma, uncle, auntie, family pet etc.) Since then, we have had our share of loss but this photo reminds us all of our happier days and keeps us optimistic for our "updated" shot in the future. I use it on all of our marketing materials for real estate, etc. to keep everything consistent. Some people get mad because they want to see us more current, but it opens up an expensive new marketing campaign. So Vive La Old Family Photo!
Renee, that means a lot coming from you because you and your spouse do so much as well. I just sent a few friends that information you posted about the little 7 year old. If it had not been for you, I would have never even known to think about that ride my munchkin must take to and fro everyday! Thank you!
Thanks Bethany! It represented a very happy time in my life. We haven't taken one since my mom's death. She is actually in all of our photos after this one. But prayerfully we will be able to renew the tradition again-LOL!
