Angus ready to go Trick-or-Treating - he'll make that candy magically appear. For the season - Angus as Harry Potter, Halloween 2006. Store-bought, unfortunately, with the wrong shirt (I didn't have a white one) and the wrong kind of wand - my spouse made it and he is not of the annointed fandom. ;) Taken by my MIL - by the time I got around to taking pics, he'd had his hair cut and it didn't look quite right. Angus gets pretty obsessed with characters.

Small-scale wildlife drama... - My kids pointed this out to me in our side yard. I'm thinking the wasp had meant to collect the spider to stuff into a cell in its nest for a future meal for its lar. . . What the heck is a Steeker? A geocache somewhere around here... Excuse the reposting of this photo, which appeared here, but it was taken this summer - not sure that many people saw there thoug. . .
