A purple bean at a friend's organic farm, a day or two before being picked to take to the local farmer's market. These are great to cook with your kids because they change from purple to green whil. . . Rosemary flowers are gorgeous and taste wonderful sprinkled on a salad! A small slice of my herb garden: chives, rosemary, creeping thyme, sage, and pansies. Beautiful, aromatic, and edible - yes, even the pansies.
