Aye, matey... this Puss' in Boots be not poor! Sailors thought cats had mystical powers and held them in high regard. According to supperstition, cats could store magic in their tails, and even control weather. They were considered good omens on ships, as they controlled mice and, you guessed it, pie-rats.

Most ships have a cat, and in all science fiction, I don't think I've ever read of a dog on a space ship. ARRRGGGGG!

Charlotte, you must never have watched "Enterprise" because the captain had a dog whose dogbed sat next to the sliding door. A good old hound dog type who was a fixture more than anything else - lazy - like a cat!

A new poem to you,
Not the like old,
To tell you that,
from the hospital, I'm home!

Almost a week in the hospital,
For a high sugar count.

My kitty Lilly! New kitten at my son's house. They actually have 4, but two look just alike. We were trying to get this kitten to lie on the blanket so we could show his color clearly in case somebody wanted to adopt him. But he wanted to play mountain climber while we were trying to make . . . All the new kittens at my son's house, held by my future daughter-in-law.
