Is it a good book? I don't think I've heard of it before.

The topic sounds fascinating. I lost a dear friend this past holiday season who had a sister who became severely mentally retarded as a result of a routine childhood vaccine. Is this the actual topic of your book? I'd like to get a copy. Is it available at Amazon.com?

Yes, and Wal-mart online as well, least expensive place to get it. Your regular bookstore can order it also and any bookstore where I've spoken has it on the shelf, but I'm on east coast with a small press and so it's not the same as a big publisher who can stock all the bookstores everywhere. Nice cover. Did you design it?

MY publisher designed it, but they used my idea of the crib and blanket, looking like the baby was missing. Small press like Cedar Creek is a great way to have your first book published because they involve you in the process so much more than a large publisher, but you lose the advantage of the large press being able to get the book in bookstores through their sales reps, something small presses can't afford.

Definitely looks like something I might look into. I'll definitely check it out once I get a chance to order it online.

By the way, I like the cover too. I guess Shannon's already asked if you designed it.

This sounds like a good book.

I've been very lucky with my first novel. It was nominated for the Library of Virginia Fiction award and has had some very strong reviews. I hope it's the beginning of a long and fruitful career, though my short stories have kept me busy for the last ten years, I'm greedy enough to want that Booker Prize or National Book Award someday.
