I haven't worn that tie in years ... I still own a few however, in case I need one. Plus I have lost almost forty pounds. I can not, in all fairness, recomend grief as a dietary approach, however. I seldom smile any more, not since I lost my family and my friends in the process. That is why I like this picture. Someone sneaked ( I want to write 'snuck' ) up on me unawares- A truly candid shot.

You have a honest face, although it seems a deep sadness for what was, remember I am an empath "I can't help it."

I like your writing it is genuinely different then what I usually surround myself with. Thank s Eric for being on Gather.

My professor once told me to pretend confidence and you will achieve it , so true.

Thanks for being there. Very sensitive too, I might add. That photo, as good as it is, was shot standing next to my mother's bed on the eve of her passing. Ironic, Isn't it ?

I like that Pepsie ... I've been going thru some interesting things the past four years. I allowed my former employers/tenure committee to make me doubt my confidence.

I guess I'll have to pretend in order to get it back :)

Welcome Eric ... my grief diet didn't take it away unfortunately (I was on prednisone so I found your 40)
