Just a cheapie decorating idea for an Americana style kid's room. These are hanging on the wall in my son's room which is done in red, white & blue. (If you look at the pic I uploaded with the mirror, you can see them on the wall.) These are 4th of July outdoor pinwheels. I was hoping that they would turn with the breeze from the ceiling fan but alas, they do not. They sure look cool though. I purchased these for $1 each atr the dollar store.

A cool man on the moon tapestry that we hung on my son's wall to fit the red, white and blue decorum. Not sure of it's age but I think it's fairly old. We hung sprigs of red & blue ribbon from . . . This is the window in my son's room. Though it actually faces into another room it's near an outside window and lets in soft light. We installed the shelf below the frame. I used a scrap of red &a. . . The yucky carpet in the hall going to the basement stairs. I have a really nice peice of cream colored berber carpet to install but not sure where to get a small peice of scrap padding. Any ideas? . . .
