I remember these well. Ours had little cardboard pull off lids that sat inside the lip of the bottle. You pulled that off and there would be a little layer of cream on the top of the milk. My grand mother would put that in her coffee! No milk could ever taste as good as it did back then out of these glass bottles, left on the doorstep by the milkman.

I'm too young to remember these...lol
Although they were before my time, I remember these well. My daddy collects them, and has since he was a little boy. He literally has hundreds of them and wouldn't part with them on a bet!

When my parents were stationed in England, they still brought milk in bottles to your door if you wanted. This was in the late 80s and early 90s. It tasted so much better then the milk in the grocery store.

I've only seen those in movies and tv.. never in person.. at least I don't think I have.. but my memory tends to be bad..
