Joseph, please explain tiktaalic. It sounds like a coastal British Columbia/Washington/Alaska Native American name. Since I have the Haida Raven on my own arm, I'd love to hear about tiktaalic.

tiktaalic is an incredible fossil that was discovered just a couple of years ago in the artic circle. it seems to be a "transitional" species linking fish with 4-legged, land-walking tetapods.It has fish-like scales and and a fish-like tail but with front limbs to support it and a flat crocodile-like head.Just to give you an idea how recent it is, if you google "tiktaalic", the first entry is my article for gather(even though its been in "Nature" and other real publications.)here is a link to my article

Copyright violation? I wonder if it's Jillian who's copyrighted (but wouldn't you be one of the copyright owners?) or if it's the tiktaalic. In the latter case, it's a good thing you weren't taken by the police--but would you be the perpetrator or the evidence?
