I would love to see a photo of him late in life for it looks almost predictable the lines that wonderful smile would carve out in his face. Great photo, Faith.

He was a sweet man, and his smile could light up a big room. Tonia, I'll have to look for a picture of him later in life, but like me, he was always the one behind the camera, recording our lives.

Actually he was the ninth, and youngest boy. Six girls and four boys. My grandfather was high up in the management of Bell Telephone in New York, so I don't think they had to pinch pennies. I've got a rough family history done by some of the siblings about twenty years ago, I'll have to pull it out and make something of it.

Funny you should say dapper, Robb. He got interested in local politics in Waveland after he retired and was an alderman (council member) for the city for many years, and the local paper, the Sea Coast Echo, always referred to him as "Dapper Dan".

Aw, thanks, Ron. He was a great guy, and it was a hard lesson for me to learn that not all men were as wonderful as he was.

He sure was a handsome young chap. And man, 10 youngins. Bless his heart being next to the youngest. I bet her grew up tough as nails. Daniel is a good, strong biblical name too. My sons name is Daniel.
