addendum, the sanil ran off and after thee days' search I still can't find him. do you think that the Homeland Security Folks have such a thing as a "Snail Detector"? After all, they are pretty lousy with moles.

it's really funny how people like this shot when I thought I should trash it-- but this snail ran away and I've no idea where he's hiding and I expect he might show up again if it ever rains in the kitchen.

WOW! This is an awesome shot!!
Like some of the others, in the thumbnail, I thought it was a flower, so I was quite surprised to open the image to find a snail, but I really like it!!

that's strange, but then I cna only see it as a snail. It came home with me, but then ran away from the frogs... and months later I discovered tht it had hidden itself under the table...
