The animals4edwards gang continue to put on the musical biography of John Edwards' life called "Ask Me about JRE". In this installment it focuses on the "love songs", the staples of most musicals. The words I chose for Senator Edwards describing Elizabeth come from Four Trials pg 125 "Miss Anania was seated several wos in front of me. She had the blackest hair and fine light blue eyes..." According to Four Trials, John and Elizabeth met in law school where they shared the same class in civil procedure. It should be noted their wedding vows had references to having a family (which inspired the second panel). I am less satisfied with my rendition of Mrs. Edwards' song because as I don't own a copy of Saving Graces yet, I didn't find her own words the way I found JRE's. There are some great stories in Four Trials regarding the courtship and wedding and a story about trying to find 2 extra dollars for a hotel room two nights after the wedding but 1) the stories dont lend themselves to a four panel blogtoon and 2) it's worth it if you read Four Trials and discover the stories on your own!
