Oh my goodness, all of your comments are so kind. I felt very self-centered and self-promoting to even publish this little article, but my good friend Tonia worked so hard helping me adjust this photo to make it fit Gather's format. I thought her hard work deserved to be viewed on a large scale.

Mike, I do have beautiful nude drawings. They are my favorite, since I love to draw the human body. But I always see that warning of inappropriate material when I am on the publish page. So I am assuming that Gather does not approve of this form of art. I would not want to offend anyone in any way.
has anyone from juxtopose seen this?!this says alot to me ,symbolicly and artisticly the wedding band is interesting.i'm having my firs child but am remaining friends with the mother and doing this as partners and not lovers thus keeping a strong bond for the child not a strong marriage for everyone else .just freaken awsome!

Eunice, I did not officially draw until I was seven. Before that, I had never heard that word. My 3rd grade teacher instructed the class to pick one of the many pictures hanging on the walls and draw what they saw. I'm sure she needed a quiet moment. A picture of a hunting dog in point was the only one I could see (before eye surgery and glasses) and I had to sneak several peeks at the other kids to understand what "draw" meant. When I saw what they were doing, I realized that I had been "drawing" since I first discovered paper and pencil. Sounds like real caveman stuff. My art talent is my most treasured gift from God. Having other people enjoy my work is next in line. Thanks so much.
