You did this? For me? I'm flattered! Thank you!
Yes, it's entirely home-recorded. The original tracks were all done in the mid-1970s-to-mid-1980s. I had them all stuffed away in shoeboxes until mid-2006, when I decided to digitize them with Apple's GarageBand program. Then I tried embellishing them with some overdubbing and some serious editing that had been impossible before the digital era. It was lots of fun, but even after all that, the sound is still not up to modern standards. The performances are not always perfect, either, but I think the songs themselves are good, and I hope people will like them.
It's hard making your pop-star debut at the age of 60 . . . . Thanks for taking notice!

They're all simple home recordings dating back to the 70s and 80s, very folk-oriented, not sophisticated at all, but I hope you like them anyway. While you're at it, you can also check out the rest of the FolkAlley.com site, which is great.
Keep at it!
that song, 'The Edmund Fitzgerald' did Gordon Lightfoot sing it perhaps ??
And what about who wrote that song Jim.

My husband loves folkalley.com- I'll tell him to look you up.
We also have a good bit of the old 60's and 70's music that we listen to a lot.
My laptop has a terrible speaker, so I'll have to wait until I get to the desktop to listen.
I sent Folk Alley my whole CD, but they said it didn't make the cut. I was disappointed, but as I listen to FolkAlley more and more I realize just how high our modern folk musicians have re-set the bar. None of my old 60s heroes could even begin to compete with them. They're simply virtuosos, no doubt about it.
