This picture is from June of 1913. It is my father' side of the family. This is a picture of my great-grandmother holding my grandfather. This picture was taken because my grandfather wasn't expected to live very long and this picture was to be the family's way of remembering him. My grandfather died this past June at 93.

My grandmother weighed a bit over 3lbs when she was born, they put her in a shoe box next to the stove to keep her warm. Never expecting her to survive. She did though, and was a pistol her entire life!!!
