I'm using a digital camera, so the 'doctoring' of the colors happens to a degree when the shot is taken, depending on the camera's setting. But, yes I did touch this one post-shot and ran some filters. I did try to preserve the color as I remembered it. The sky may have been a slightly lighter shade of blue. I looked at another shot I had taken with a different light-setting and it matched closely with this color here. I mostly tried to get the picture to show the difference in the cloud above and the trail of falling mist below it. There was also a nice ray-shadow falling across the mist trail. (I've also tried to reduce the file size of the image to 400k or less since I'm using dial-up internet).
Any how, I'm glad you enjoyed the picture.
I've thought of these types of clouds as jellyfish like too...
