mushrooms
these mushroom have a life span of just a few hours. the zoo worker told us they poped up about 7 am and when we walked past the area at noon they had melted thought that was sorta strange

Mushrooms are so fascinating to me! I just put some up myself. I have several in my pics section if you might be interested. I wonder about these! Yes, most mushrooms have a very short life span...but these...only a few hours! WOW! And their higher purpose is....?

Remember musrhooms are only a small part of the plant. Their job is to house and protect the spores so they can be dispersed. They don't need to last a long time.
that is very strange that mushrooms can melt. never heard of that.

not sure how other mushrooms die since these are the first ones ive ever seen dead. I do know that if you leave the ones you buy at the store the buttons they will turn a bit liquidy
