Donna, it is barely 7"30 AM here and I am salivating for split pea soup with carots and potatoes............oh, man!

Thank you, Kathryn! I am standing on our back lanai andthe floor beneath me is actually 10 feet off the ground and just beyond is a gulch (ravine) 160 foot drop down to the stream bed.........which I can hear but can't see except little snatches here and there through thick foliage

What exactly is the source of your contentment?

Also, where did you get the mug? I must be missing something here on Gather.

Lovely picture, but like some others I am curious about the frontal shot. There must be something you don't want us to see. What I have seen, you are a lovely lady.

Hello, Harrell...........the source of my contentment... mmmmmm....who knows? Maybe because I live in a beautiful place?.....maybe because in spite of everything going on around me I still feel life is good?.....maybe because I'm foolish to think 'my cup is always half full'?...........I don't tend to worry about it, I just live my days one at a time, the best I can.....

The mug was a gift from Gather about two years or so ago.... At the time there was a Gather Group that gave several members their own "15 minutes of fame" and awarded them with their own Gather mugs..... This was the photo taken by my son to be featured in My Mug Shot! for 'the award'
;-)

Thank you about the last comment....there is no particular reason....the previous photo I used as an icon was also a partial shot and I was just following the theme....since then, Gather has had the opportunity to see my entire face in an assortment of articles... ;-)

Thank you, Susan.... I still live in the same place...still have the mug (in fact, I'm at this moment drinking my early morning cup of coffee from it)....and still have the shirt....I don't part with things easily ;-)
