Tracy, I would love to have some wine. The reason I named my review that was because I just read on the 'Defamer' site how every review was writing lame, 'A Good Year, Bad Movie' articles, so I changed it up a little.
I loved 'Master and Commander' because it did work as a movie and Russell was amazing in his pirate shirt! I read one of the books it was based on and found it a really dry read. In fact I gave it to my cousin to read as he flew back to Alaska and he talked about how it had this element and that and I had no idea what he was talking about. In other words, it read better for male eyes, thus making me think the movie was more incredible because I was able to follow the finer details of sailing.
I can completely understand needing to change up the review title to get some attention... Some books definately connect with us and some books are definately work better for men and some books work better for woman. Then again sometimes the book is better, sometimes the movie is better. Personally I liked the Da Vinci code book, but thought the movie kind of sucked. Sailing is definately a fun!!!
