Love those Danish butter cookies (and their other pastries)! My heritage is Dutch (our town has its own windmill, and a yearly Dutch Days festival in spring), German, and maybe a little Spanish and Native American. Guess I better stock up on flags! Thanks for the colorful image.

Nice! Mine would be 1) The United Nations (I am a world citizen), and 2) Canada (my place of birth). That way no one is left out.

You're very welcome Visionaerie. Yes, you'd better stock up on flags. I hope you'll publish pictures of every one of those flags. Yes Danish butter cookies and REAL Danish pasteries are the best!! Be careful you don't get a North American knock-off. ;-)

Thank you William. I love how you said "countries." My Canadian family has told me that I need to give up Denmark because I wasn't born there and don't live there. I don't think that's true at all. I think one's pride should be as much in their heritage and cultures, as in their country of citizenship.

To my dear Russian sister Sveta.

I wish I could have made that myself, but I haven't figred out how to do that yet. I found it on a website for a Danish Canadian club. It's the same one as on the back of the Sunset Villa cookbook, so people all over Canada and Denmark are using it. I have a pin with the same logo that I wear on my sweaters when I go out. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, and for saving this image on your computer.

Thank you Mona. The pattern is convenient, because I have a custom made stamp with a similar design. I like it because I can make perfect impressions on white paper with red ink. That's a little harder to do with a Russian or American flag. Thank for your comment. I was waiting for you to discover this one.
