Self Portrait on black paper with gel markers.
The other night I had this craving to doodle. This is what came out of it. Not high art by any means but very theraputic!

I have done alot of staring at this image in particular. I know I see the serenity I was feeling at the time. The eyes look particularly quiet, and accepting.
I've spent more time looking at the "waves" I made around the face. Almost aura like. I was drawn to using some of the white. Either because it was cool to use on the black paper or because I wanted to reflect light.
