Cheese Waggon. The Caption from the Victoria & Albert Museum reads: "This type of moveable cheese dish was probably developed at the same time as the decanter wagons in the 1820-1830 period and was used to serve cheese towards the end of the meal. Fashionable circles would have followed the French custom of eating cheese immediately before the dessert." I want one!!
