Thanks all! I try to ensure that all of my paintings portray a cluster of often oposing emotions, while, at the same time, maintaining their symbolism and underlying messages.

I ended up here by clicking on your icon from another area. Every time I see a comment from you I can't help but take a few seconds to look at it again. My eyes are drawn to it like a magnet, and I had to know more. I think it is more hypnotizing than haunting.

All this time I thought that was a photo of you. I agree with John, this is more hypnotizing than haunting for me. I see see strength and wisdom in the eyes. Your work is amazing.

Thanks everyone for your kind words! I guess one could say that this is a "picture of me," so to speak! After all, it is a portrayal of my thoughts, emotions, and experiences, even if it is a two-dimentional work of art on paper! I am delighted that you like my work. I will try to post more of them with my article publishings.

It is my deepest hope that my art and paintings will serve as tools to spread messages about the lives, struggles, and general emotions of women around the world, as well as to help assist the women who might, in any way, benefit from the proceeds associated with the sales of my paintings.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I am a painter/artist by nature and a lawyer by profession. As such, I have no choice but to write as well as to paint!! I only wish that I could find an extra 48 hours in a single day in order to accomplish all that I need to do so in any given day!

I assume as a self portrait the eye color is correct? If so you share that gift with the legendary Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt and consort of Julius Ceaser and Mark Antony. Ceaser was captivated by Cleopatra's "lioness" eyes. We can see why!
