Got another big show next week. That is going to be exciting too.

Just so you know, Jennifer McConnell is a great friend of mine. They are her kids, and I know them. They are wonderful kids, but my kids each have 4 legs and a lot of fur. A King Shepherd & a Husky Chow.

I think it is terrible when it is done by family (the kids father)
My cousins dad tried to do the same thing when they were young. he tried to sneek them across the boarder into Mexico.

Unfortunately, this could have been prevented.
Unfortunately the El Paso and ESPECIALLY the Las Cruses, NM Police allowed it to happen.

I will participating in the local Kermezaar Art and craft festival don here in El Paso, TX, and my booth is kind of small (6x9) so there is no way I can display all at once (3x4' & 4x5' paintings take up a lot of space!)so i take a number of my prints and smaller items with me.

Solution: The smaller stuff I keep in boxes under the table, and leave larger items that are unaffected by heat wrapped in my car trunk.

Note: pack your stuff in boxes that will fit into one another when stacked empty (plastic totes), so when you empty one you can put a full one inside it.

I also have a sign up for taking commissions/custom orders.

Another idea is, if you have a laptop you can take with you. You can create a power point slide of your entire inventory that people can look at if they don't find something to their tastes on your tables they can place an order for an item they see on the slide show. Remember to get a deposit for custom orders!

If pictures posted at the size they were, it wouldn't be fuzzy. The dimentions are only half the size viewed on gather.

Belly dance is cool, because literally anyone can learn to do it! My students see their progress after just 2 months in my class.

Don't get me wrong now. They do work at it. I don't teach one of those instant belly dancer classes where you just add water and poof! you're a great dancer. Nope! they work at it, but they have a lot of fun doing it!

Isis wings are SO COOL! I love them! Can't wait to see a picture!
That is a great deal!
You can make the arm band wings probably, but the Isis wing are usually so expensive because they are a specific type of material that is pleated.

My mom thought she got a wrong number the other day, because I think she finally really listened to my voice mail that said "hi, you've reached Kristina & Zahira at KB Works Studio. Sorry, we missed your call, ....etc" and all she heard was "Zahira". it was kind of funny, since I have had my voice mail set like that since February!
