Most of us in our cozy urban houses in towns and cities far away from the country and farmlands are ignorant of how food crops are grown and don't really care if they are safe or not. We just want go to the groceries and supermarkets to buy foodstuffs and just eat them without feeling concerned about the world food crisis and whether millions of people in poor, poorer and poorest nations are starving or not.

I have seen how tonnes of foodstuffs have been wasted among comfortable urban dwellers in developed nations who are wallowing in excesses and they are the worst abusers of the environment as their waste spill over their waste bins and mess up the whole place and pollute the air we breathe in from New York City to London to Paris to Lagos.

A mite of the amount of dollars and pounds to be spent on Halloween treats and binges would be like manna from heaven to a starving refugee child in Darfur.
But do they care that nobody knows it is another Halloween in Darfur?

May God help us to see beyond our mouth?

But I don't lose sleep over North Korea having a Nuclear Test.

America is often panicking whenever her self-made enemies are getting wiser.
America cannot dictate the terms of existence one earth.

North Korea has the right to have Nuclear Tests.

All these divide and rule tactics America has been using have backfired in the Middle East.

Gunboat diplomacy is outdated.

God help us all.

I love birthdays. Because I believe birthdays are made in heaven.
Because children come from God.

Well, I am a member of Greenpeace. But my in-laws eat dogs and when I lived in the village I joined in eating lizards and snakes. Snake tastes like fish. So, such environmental sentiments will not appeal to those who don't care or only pay lip service to conservation. I prefer wild life to be left as we do in Africa in the jungle and not in Zoos.

The Border Fence could be designed in a more environmental-friendly way. Because, America needs to even build fortified cities with walls as high as the Great Wall of China to keep illegal immigrants and terrorists at bay.

Personally I don't like illegal immigrants and terrorists. They are the causes of the nightmares of the restless days and sleepless nights in America.

I am a Nigerian and I have never applied for Visa and I have been engaged in nation building of a New Nigeria and not running away to America or Europe in self-exile. Because, I love my country for better or for worse.

May God help America.

My best buddy is a naval officer and I refused to join the Nigerian Navy. But I have been on their ships. So, I was just seeing you as you described everything and was laughing here.

What is happening in America and Canada where lunatics even have the firearms to stray into a school and kill innocent school children and college students at random cannot happen in Nigeria, because guns are not sold on the streets or over the counter. Only the Nigerian Police has the right to issue the license for private ownership of firearms and they must authorize the sales of firearms. Police officers are not even allowed to go home with their firearms. And any dummy cannot buy a gun as dummies do in America and Canada. And again we don't allow the insane lunatics to live among sane people in Nigeria. We have early warning signals to alarm the authorities of questionable behaviour before it does any harm to us. The most dangerous lunatic fringe elements in Nigeria are the Islamists and corrupt politicians and we already know them.

Even if you have rights to have guns, they should not be entitled to possess live bullets.

Please, the sooner we ban the private possession of live ammunition in America, Canada and other countries the safer we would be.

As I always say that our destinies are not in the stars, but in our own hands.

President George W. Bush is already plagued by the tribulations of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and he should not be made the sacrificial scape goat of the crimes of the lunatic fringe elements on rampage in Darfur.

If African leaders cannot solve their own problems, then they should face the consequences of their political failures.

George W. Bush is not Jesus Christ.
