I sure hope that no one thought that I was asking for anything, I was just venting to my friends and neighbors. People have been great, she has had some help from friends and my husband and I set some bills aside and got her into a trailer. They may not have a bazillion presents under the tree, but they have a roof over their heads. Thanks for all the good wishes.

Well, I'm no doctor, but my last cold/allergy took approximately 1 1/2 boxes of tissues. The big Puffs boxes. Good luck, hope you feel better.

Thank you, My daughter does photography, and makes amazing things with other peoples pics, this was her gift to me.

Every year I say I am going to theme my tree, but every year, I miss my ornaments that I have collected from Germany, those given as gifts and so...I have a mishmash of ornaments, but it make me smile, and I can find a story for almost every one of them. The Grandkids like it.

Nice and Christmasy. There is a legend that says every candle should be lit at least once, no matter how decorative, just lit to black the wick, it is supposed to ward off bad luck.

Thanks for sharing, Gran, I am sitting here right now listening to Bing telling me "there's no place like home for the holidays" on my computer. My tree is sitting in the corner all lit and sparkly, the house is quiet, and I am the only soul awake. I feel very festive and content, like my big ole rag doll cat.
