Oh thanks for the reminder! I have been wanting to do a thanksgiving tree where we add leaves that say what we are thankful for. I always remember too late to get it done!

I would have called her a seal point. I looked it up and it looked like chocolate points had lighter bodies than she does, almost a creamy white.

I hope that you get the resolution you and your son want from all of this. Sometimes the whole thing backfires and it only gets worse. I can't believe that duty person who told the kids they shouldn't have talked to a counselor. Every kid should feel safe doing that.
Bullies are a huge problem. We have even had to deal with them at church where my son was punched in the stomach by one kid, hit with a 2x4 another time by an older kid during a craft time and another kid threatened to kill him. No place is safe.

It sounds like you had a lot of fun and I can't imagine how wonderful it must have been to dance with your husband. I haven't gotten to do that since before my 13 year old son was born.
