Elsie is correct...taking blood pressure medicines work! I had migraines very badly, for years, but when I went on Inderol (for a hyperthyroid problem), my migraines disappeared! When I got off the Inderol, as the thyroid problem was fixed by then, the migraines returned. I took feverfew, as Elaine pointed out. I grew the fresh herb in pots in my kitchen, and, at the first sign of a migraine, I chewed a whole leaf. IT WORKS!!!
