Oooh............I hated watching the last episode! My daughter got me started watching Buffy - I bought all the dvds for her over time. She got to the episode months before I did, so I knew what was coming, but dreaded watching it!

Merry Meet Heather! Wonderful article - very well thought out and a good explaination of what Samhain is for those who don't know. I'd like to have our bonfire tonight, but may have to wait until tomorrow night. I never know that bonfires were called "boon fires", but makes complete sense. See, you learn something new everyday!

Heh..........yep. While surfing the net for pic ideas for the pumpkins, I stumbled upon his personal website. I was so suprised that he's a year or two older than I am, and I'm almost 43!

Hi Lori! Nope haven't heard anything as to WHEN Barter Friends will be back up. It does sound like Tammy has her hands full with life.

Yeah, when I saw PoshPoints was only for US residents, I was kinda bummed. Hehe......maybe we should start our own website! LOL! Right, like either of us have the time to devote to that. There's always AdPro to ya know, but their point vs. dollar ratio is so inflated it isn't funny.

When PoshPoints opens the door internationally, believe me, you'll hear from me. :)

Wonderful article Firoze - sorry I missed it earlier. I remember Zoroastrism being mentioned in my Ancient & Medievel History class, but that was so many years ago I really don't remember any of it. Doesn't seem like we actually learned about the religion itself (and surely not in depth!). Yours sounds like a beautiful religion and I've enjoyed reading about it. Thank you for sharing.

Wow Steve........... I don't know what to say. One of the most wonderful things (in any faith) is unconditional love........... and you've gotten that - received as well as given. I think that anybody with a serious illness has 'morbid' thoughts........ I don't see how they couldn't! My nephew was born with DBA (Diamond Blackfan Anemia), though I believe he's in remission for now as he hasn't required a blood transfusion for about a year (used to have them every 2 weeks or so since he was a baby - he's now going on 16). He'll most likely have to have a bone-marrow transplant someday - you don't stay in remission forever (drats!) and the more transfusions you have the more it damages the liver. (His is black!) He has his dark thoughts, he has his great gift of lifting others up............ and he loves Halloween too! Always a big holiday in his family since his older sis was born on Halloween!
