I read lots of your posts, commented on more than a few and always thought you were a refreshing voice away from the politics. I am glad to hear that your book is doing well and hope you have even more success with your next one. I hate to see you go.

This was an amazing video. I wish she would have stuck with conservation and the elimination of deforestation. Once global warming was mentioned it lost a lot of credibility.

To me it looks like a guyy who constantly passes very harsh and critical judgment on people he disagrees with for nothing more than politics but can't seem to keep his hands off of women. What a liberal creep.

I'll check it Peter but after watching my link you can't possibly say that it was all Bush's fault when banking and housing were the catalyst creating the market crash, along with the following run on the banks. What I showed you was actual testimony from the power brokers. Your link better not be more historical revision by another liberal spin blogger.

Wrong again. All the economists I have heard said that the TARP fund is what stopped a great depression, not the stimulus. The stimulus was supposed to create jobs.

The markets crashed because some politicians thought banking was supposed to be used for social experiments. The names are out there, do some research. When regulators tried to clamp down on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the democrats jumped all over them accusing them of inventing a future crisis that didn't exist!

Watch this video and tell me who warned of an upcoming crisis and who laughed it off genius.

Oh how I wish they would. That would guarantee a new, extreme right administration in 2012. Unfortunately, that is just the latest strategy of the left to try to get people on the cap and tax bus. It won't work and the EPA wouldn't dare arbitrarily put a tax on CO2 based on a wide eyed hypothesis that has been proven more wrong each and every year.

Yeah just look at California's middle class after all the socialist policies and big government ideas. They invented the blueprint to the working poor phenomenon. You can keep your failed ideas. Allowing people to keep more of the money they earn is NOT trickle down. The stimulus bill was. What a disaster that turned out to be. Obama has proven once and for all that you lefties are intellectually bankrupt and your old, rusty, Marxist ideas are woefully pathetic. Socialism never worked and never will.

If you are going to quote Howard Dean, give him the credit.

Although I am not a big fan of republicans, but capitalism protects the money people earn, rich or not. Socialism thinks aging hippies that lay around writing gay poetry deserve some of the money REAL workers earn.

Yeah, I don't think most democrats have the stomach to face their constituents with a cap and trade bill when they are all foaming at the mouth over health care. Obama pretty much blew his wad on the stimulus bill and health care. I doubt that we will see any other major bills. Put a fork in him, he's done.

Lloyd you get what you put in. If you don't put in the effort and go out and earn a living wage, you don't deserve it. Just because you can look at a bum who is drunk on a sidewalk after begging for enough spare change to buy a bottle of booze and say "he deserves a living wage!" and I think he get's what he deserves does not make you more compassionate than me. It just means your sense of responsibility is misguided and your ability to make excuses for the inexcusable is far superior to mine.

The market and minimum wage dictates what you are worth. If somebody works 40 hours a week and demands 15 dollars an hour more power to him. But if 10 other people are willing to do the same work for half the pay, he doesn't deserve 15 dollars an hour because the free market says so.

By the way, in Wisconsin the average full time Walmart employee makes over 10 dollars an hour. Sounds better than Nancy Pelosi's living wage to me.

Sam, have you seen Obama's college records? I appreciate the fact that you think elected politician know best but I have evidence on my side to the contrary. I'd tell you to stop taking your psychotic medication but that might make you dangerous rather than just plain ignorant.
