My husband is a huge peanut butter lover. He actually got salmonella from the Austin line of peanut butter crackers. He would eat them every night...up until the recall. And we could not figure out why he kept getting sick. The recall solved that puzzle.

Now he still eats peanut butter and peanut butter products, but only after I have carefully researched and verified where they get their supplies from. For instance, Reese’s products are completely safe as are the Lance line of snack crackers.

They sound perfectly normal to me. My oldest two are 6 and 3 and they get about that much. My 3 year old often, takes a nap during the day, but not always. However, she is one that will tell you in a heartbeat when she is ready to go to sleep -- even if it is in the middle of supper. lol

I am working on getting organized myself. I am in the middle of moving and I have been trying to get rid of lots of stuff that tends to clutter up the house. I hope your organization is going well.

And if all else fails, blend them up and mix them in when the kids don't know. For example. You can blend up some carrots till they are mush and mix them in with meatloaf when you make it -- or even in hamburgers.

Oh another hint is cook carrots until tender (canned carrots will do) and mix in an equal portion of butter and brown sugar for a nice glaze. Kids eat them up.

Try cooking the veggies until they are very tender.

Try cooking the veggies in a different manner than usual. Different seasonings can make the veggies taste better.

Serve up unusual veggies. Even if you don't like them, they might. Try ones like eggplant, squash, or zucchini. You never know what they might like.

Try using cheese on broccoli to make it more appetizing for the more picky palate.

There are lots of tricks to get them to eat veggies. One thing is to do fresh veggies with their favorite salad dressing as a dip. Cut up some cucumbers, bell peppers and some baby carrots with some ranch dressing and let them have at it.

My kids are kind of picky, but not in the veggie area. They love veggies. I have to work to get them to eat meat. lol

I am still up in the air about this one. I know if my husband and I both go together, I would like to be buried together. But if we go at different times I think maybe creamation because that way whichever one of us outlives the other could still keep the other one close even if we move away. But that is my feeling right now because we are an Army family and we move often.

My hubby kept getting sick for over a month. He stopped the meds the doctor had him on one at a time thinking it was them. Then the peanut butter recall came and he quit eating the peanut butter crackers he ate every night with his meds and bam no more throwing up.

Shannon I love frozen melon and grapes too! They are awesome.

Have you tried cubing melon -- watermelon is my fav -- and then freezing it. Then when it is frozen pop it in the blender (you can add a touch of a sweetener if desired) and then blend it. OMG it is awesome!! It is a pure fresh fruit sorbet that is delicious!
