My movie review of The Lost Boys 2 by Angey T.

Trust me, tell her from a HUGE Lost Boys fan, stick with remembering the first one and dreaming of them as they are in that movie. The sequel is so stupid, she will find herself wishing she never would have watched it. If I can not make it halfway through it, I don't know who could have! The actors are not fully ready to act such big roles, and honestly, I had sat down and physically wrote the script to the first one out by hand, then typed it up (of course, I was mad years later when it became closed captioned!!!! LOL) and can still tell you what they are about to say, almost 100% of the time too. I found myself on more than 100 spots in the sequel that I would say what they was going to say, and was right 99% of the time. The other 1% was what I said, but worded just a small bit differently. The bonfire scene from the first one is copied in the sequel, but is NOTHING close to how good it was in the first one.

Trust me, tell her she is better off waiting for it to hit cable, and watching it for free. Do not attempt to purchase this movie for her. Yes, the cover makes it look great, but it isn't even worth wiping my own butt with.

Sorry, but that is how much I disliked the sequel. If you are looking for a cheap remake of a great film, then sure, the 2nd one is good for that, but not if you are truly a fan of the first one looking for a great sequel.

Reminds me of those films you would rent with Japanese actors, but had an American overlay of the talking. Remember those?

Yeah, my older sister sent that to me and as I was reading I was thinking "Why on earth did she send this to me?". My husband and I seperated in November of 2004 and haven't been with anyone since then, so you can imagine what I was thinking. LOL

I have read that he had told his manager that while he was on land he was confident but if he ever were to go in the water, that would be the end of him because he would not be able to move as fast.

I would love to watch the video of the stingray footage that they were shooting. I can not imagine the pain he endured or what his last thoughts were of. I heard that he would have been fine if the stingray hadn't of punctured his heart, as he pulled it out of his heart and bled to death immediately.

My heart goes out to his family and small children. I agree, he died doing what he loved and my children nor I will never rid our home of his 35 videos that we have of his.

I completed my first huge job over the past weekend. I worked Saturday, Sunday and Monday and got paid $11 an hour for 15 hours!!! I have accepted the same job for this weekend for a total of 23 hours and will get paid a little more than what I did last time. That will be the last job that I can do for them this year, whereas I won't have to turn anything in and risk getting caught on disability and able to work.

With the work that I have completed already though, I have made up my mind to go back to college to earn my degree and be totally independent by the year 2008. I am having a hard time working, BUT it sure is nice to have some extra $$$$ in my hands!!
