It varies from year to year, but right now I'm crazy about pumpkin pie. It's so good! Pumkin has lots of wonderful nutrients, so I don't mind the occasional indulgence.

I started saving paper and putting it down in my garden this year so as to keep invasive plants to a minimum in the Spring. I hope it works!

Make sure to clean and store terra cotta pots inside, where they will not freeze. Any moisture left in the posts will freeze and chip the surface from the pot. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way.

We had a sweet little dog named Suzi who followed me around everywhere. She was my constant friend and companion, but was happy as long as she had someone with her. I knew she was ill and dying, but in my heart, I denied it. Finally the moment arrived, and reality seemed to slap me in the face. I could not bare the thought of losing my little girl. She was so precious to me. We surrounded her and stayed with her as she passed from this world, and my heart suddenly joined my voice in an unbelievable grief. I will never forget that moment. Most importantly, I will never forget my little Suzi.
