The book is definitely much better.. there are a lot of things left out... but the movie was good too.. it helps with visualization while reading.. and i loved the scenery in the movie.. but i plan on reading the books again.. and a little slower the next time after i clean the house which was totally neglected...lol

If I could go out on the open road, I would take my best Friend Jolene and Traci. It would be difficult to leave the kids behind, but sometimes as an adult you need to just get out an be free for a few.

I would take them because not only are they great friends, we have been friends through think and thin. We all have different ideas and can input where to go, what to see and what to do next without arguing or complaining. We just get the job done. It would be interesting to see where we would actually end up, because we would not set a destination either.. just out on the open road. man that would be such an interesting thing.. I cannot tell you what would happen as it would be spontaneous and everything around us would affect our decisions, but without knowing the surroundings ahead, you don't know where you will go or be.

I have had my son come home with bruises up and down his arms from starting a new school and the other kids hitting him while going down the hallway.. The last time it happened, the teachers finally saw it as he got punched in the face.

I had to explain to him that you cannot hit back, but when he is being bullied, he needs to tell someone .. especially me... we cannot stop the bullying if we dont know about it..

He was sent home for a week for fighting, and I made him do bible work.. he learned to realize that bullying is not the thing to do to other, and he has learned to let me know if others are being unkind to him.

I really enjoy watching spy movies and with going through my divorce, I have not watched a movie or rented one in over 6 months... This is one movie I really have wanted to see.

I was a teen and my freind got me really drunk.. I partially remember getting rid of what was in my tummy when all of a sudden a guy come out of his home shooting his shotgun at us... boy is that a task to try and do, run and puke at the same time while being chased...

I feel for you... I am begining to wonder about my kids dad... he is being so irresponsible... he did not pick kids up on friday.. then picked them up 40 min late on sat morning.. and then returned them early on sun because he said he did not have enough food to feed them.. we are talking about 2 kids that will accept peanut butter sandwiches as a meal..

I have not been attending due to frigid temps ... and walking in these frigid temps with 3 kids in tow is not something I want to do...

I am staying near home myself.. or close to friends... I have been afraid of what things may take place on tuesday.. not saying i know anything will take place other than the innauguration, but we have something happening .. a change i never thought i would see in my lifetime let a lone my grandchildren's lifetime... I am not saying it is a bad thing, but my childhood fears and run ins with KKK members when I was younger just really are being brought to memory lately.

Good idea Dawn.. I am a christian and want my future mate to also be, so I put that out there right to begin with.. I know that will chase others away, but i need to have a relationship with someone who is equally yolked and not afraid to profess his love for God.

I am an advocate for breastfeeding and this mother should have her rights taken away... this is unethical and the majority of breastfeeding mothers who may have a drink or so will pump and dump until the alloted time that the alcohol is out of her system ... this is just rediculous...

I have to agree with Rob and I am diabetic... I have these happen to me quite often and I have diabetic neuropathy... I'd be going every day for loss of feeling to my feet...lol.. I would not know I was having this happen.. cuz all those that you posted above happen to diabetics quite often really.
