Over twenty years ago my then eighty year old grandmother told me about her generation using "Merriweather's", I had no idea what she was talkng about. I had never heard of "Merriweather's" or what they, or it had to do with sex, until she told me they were "rubbers" or to accuratley quote her "good old rubbers".

Premarital sex has been around so long that it is impossible to track it's history. I liked the article.

Question: Why is it that everytime someone objects to homosexuals they are deemed religious or a Christian? This isn't necessarily so. There are homosexuals that think nothing is more gross then a man and woman doing the deed and no one is calling them the religious or non-religious center. Just because someone finds the thought of two men having sex distasteful doesn't make that person religious, a Christian, a homophobe, or any of the other things they have been called.

If you think that religious, Christian or those that are unsure of what they believe aren't attacked then you haven't been following this thread or site very well.

Getting angry at a person for what they think or feel will not change the thoughts or the feelings.

Steve, when the US Constitution was written, all of the religions we have and acknowledge now didn't exist. The Constitution wasn't written for todays generation it was written for that time, no one at that time could imagine the society that we live in today. They were looking out for themselves and their families based on the times and not for the world that we live in today.

They wrote :"All men are created equal", then there was slavery; what they should have written based on the times they were living in was "All men are created equal as long as they are anglo-saxon and Protestant.

John, there were homosexuals on the Mayflower, homosexuality is nothing new, and the arguments for and against it aren't new.

I really believe that young people think they invented sex, but they didn't as a matter of fact young people have not added anything new to the sexual revolution. They didn't create anal, oral or vaginal sex it's been around since the beginning of time.

People can feel what they want to feel, believe what they want to believe and think what they want to think, and there isn't a thing you can do about it. The supposed email was personal, and should have stayed personal, if they person that supposedly wrote the email had wanted it published he/she would have written an article and published it. I think this was written to get a rise and it worked.

Too many people don't see homeless people as human, it is as if the exist in some type of sub-culture. This Beeson man sounds like he some type of animal, he shouldn't be around people, homeless or otherwise. He'd better hope and pray that no one dies during one of his demeanng stunts.

Melanie, I can't say they have no hope, everyone has hope, it doesn't cost a thing.

Be nice, but watchful, you don't have to be there for her beck and call, stay in control of your life, because that is the only life that you can truly have any control over. If she's not pregnant then what? Her problems may be too heavy for you to handle.
