Faith - I had a polarizing filter made (by promaster) for my digital camera - it did cost quite a bit, but both sides are coated with the polarizing filter - it was explained to me that most of the "cheap" filters such as spartan is referencing do not have both sides coated and with digital cameras the sensors inside the camera will actually bounce off the inside of the filter, so it needs to have the polarizing coating on both sides. I have noticed a difference when I photograph with vs without the polarizing filter. For me it has been worth the investment.

Hi Gather Help Team - I just wanted to pop in today and let you know that I am very pleased with the features available for group owners. I have modified all of my very large groups this morning - and will probably continue to make modifications as time allows later in the day. thanks for allowing us the option to "personalize" our groups. I think this will help to draw members back to them over time. Good luck as you work through the little bugs of the release! Lisa M.

KT - please check your email - those kids need to see an OT (occupational therapist). This type of person deals with sensory issues. You can get a referral from your ped.

Claire - We built up the omega-3 in his system (3000 mg) per day for over 6 months before we started to reduce meds. And yes, it was all done under dr care. Although she was not completely sure what to expect at the time (it was what I had read in studies). We had a nebulizer at home with emergency meds just-in-case as we took him off. Asthma is nothing to mess with as I'm sure anyone with it knows!

From my research, Omega-3's act on the lining of the lungs, skin and brain, and eyes. One of the reasons it is now added to infant formula (DHA, ALA). In the pure form (fish oil, etc) and in high enough doses, it can help to "heal" the Cell Membranes (lipid barriers) of these organs.

Americans do not eat enough fish!!

jr - talk to your drs about it - there are lots of studies - even our asthma/allergist is now recommending to ALL of his patients.

My oldest son has had asthma - and since we have started him on high doses of Omega-3's (approved by his drs) he has been taken off all asthma, allergy meds and all of his skin rashes have resolved (for over 3 years).

What is your take on Omega'3 Claire?

Claire - Viruses can't be killed by sanitizers as they are not alive - hand sanitizer will not damage virus’s right? I have heard only the scrubbing action of washing hands will remove the viruses and bacteria.

We always directed visitors to the bathroom to wash before they could see our twins (during the first couple of months). Even our family got tired of being told to wash first - so many rolling eyes - but my twins stayed healthy for a very, very long time!

Claire - I have also been told that my pre-schoolers should go to school even if they are not feeling completely healthy because being exposed to more germs will strengthen their immune system.
