I agree wholeheartedly. Chauvinism of that sort bred the rabid nationalism that sparked world wars.....it's stupidity at its most American. That doesn't promote our culture as a country, but rather illustrates us as arrogant in the world's view.

I tried to expand a little, it isn't just strictly horror, but fantasy and true crime as well...not just for slasher film fans!

I'm only responding to the statement mentioned at the top of the post. And yes, America as a whole. However even that's a tricky question because someone who refers to "America" is referring to our nation from it's inception as 13 British colonies, through independence, and westward expansion, etc.

Forgive my language, but Michael Vick should be strung up by his balls in the town square and spit on by the local children. He's a cowardly piece of shit who not only deserves less than an NFL contract, but the horrors which he inflicted on so many innocent creatures revisited on him.
